Webinar to Discuss National Survey of Public Attitudes Toward Crime and Punishment September 10, 2010

On Tuesday, September 14, the Pew Center on the States’ Public Safety Performance Project will host a webinar to discuss the research findings from a national poll and focus groups on public attitudes toward crime and punishment. The webinar will discuss support for policy change among voters, as well as ways to improve communication with voters about complicated criminal justice issues.

The webinar will be led by Bill McInturff, partner and co-founder of Public Opinion Strategies, a national political and public affairs survey research firm. Mr. McInturff will be joined by Daniel Franklin, a Senior Vice President at the Benenson Strategy Group, which has worked with major nonprofits, unions and other advocacy groups to shape the public debate over a wide range of issues. Following the presentation, both Bill McInturff and Daniel Franklin will be available for questions from the audience.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday, September 14 from 2:00-3:30 pm EST.
